PCOM Student Chapter

About Us

Although the GA-PCOM School of Pharmacy ASHP-SSHP chapter is the newest member of the GSHP chapter, we strive to provide the best resources for our student members by educating our student members and promoting the interest of health-system pharmacies at a statewide and national level. One event that we host every fall is the Clinical Skills Competition, which provides students the opportunity to participate on a team to analyze clinical situations in the healthcare system. Another event that encourages new members to become a member is our membership drive, which promotes the purpose of our chapter. Recently, we have also launched our Instagram page, which allows us to further advocate for health-system pharmacist. The most memorable event that our chapter provides for our student members is our Annual Residency Panel, which will enable students the opportunity to network with several pharmacy directors, clinical pharmacists, and current residents throughout the state. Students can further their knowledge about the process necessary of becoming accepted into a residency program. We have high hopes of advancing the profession as a whole.
