Objectives for Pharmacists

1. List cannabis/cannabinoid products and review their legality, and indications for use
2. Summarize the use of cannabis-derived and cannabis-related products in patients with cancer including both FDA approved and non-approved indications, in addition to reviewing the National Comprehensive Cancer Network’s (NCCN) recommendations regarding FDA approved products
3. Interpret primary literature related to the use of FDA approved and non-approved products
4. Discuss the drug-drug interactions between cannabis and chemotherapy by reviewing metabolic pathways

Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Participants of the session who complete the evaluation and provide accurate NABP e-Profile information will have their credit for 1 contact hour (0.1 CEU) submitted to CPE Monitor as early as 1 day after the event and no later than 60 days after the event.  The participant is accountable for verifying the accurate posting of CE credit to their CPE Monitor account within 60 days.
