Objectives for Pharmacists

• Describe the updated vancomycin consensus guideline recommendations for vancomycin dosing and monitoring.  
• Discuss the potential benefits of utilizing Bayesian software for vancomycin dosing and monitoring.

•      Analyze the correlation between vancomycin steady-state trough concentrations and estimated area under the curve values using Bayesian software.

• Discuss the use of argatroban for patients supported on ECMO
• Analyze the use of a percentage compared to an incremental-based protocol for argatroban dose adjustments
• Assess primary and secondary outcomes to determine the safest and most efficient protocol for hospital use

Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Participants of the session who complete the evaluation and provide accurate NABP e-Profile information will have their credit for 1 contact hour (0.1 CEU) submitted to CPE Monitor as early as 1 day after the event and no later than 60 days after the event.  The participant is accountable for verifying the accurate posting of CE credit to their CPE Monitor account within 60 days.
