Objectives

Following this presentation, the audience will be able to:

         Define the role of targeted temperature management (TTM) in post-cardiac arrest care

         Interpret relevant studies and guidelines pertaining to TTM

       Describe the complications associated with TTM and the impact of hypothermia on medication metabolism

       Develop a pharmacotherapeutic drug and monitoring plan for a patient experiencing complications associated with TTM
