Mentor/Mentees are encouraged to meet via phone, virtually, or in-person monthly throughout the program. Open communication is the key to success!

For mentors: This is a great way to stay apprised of the up-and-coming generation of pharmacists and technicians, give back to the profession, and invest in others.

For mentees: This program is a great way to get involved in GSHP and begin to network with pharmacists and senior technicians across the state. The GSHP Education Committee is accepting submissions for the Guideline Update session at the GSHP Fall Meeting Oct 17-19 at Brasstown Valley Resort. We are seeking speakers (practitioner or resident) willing to provide a short review (10-15 minutes) on 3 to 4 of the following guidelines/practice changes: removal of clozapine REMS, BPS CE changes, nonopioid pain management (Exparel®, Zynrelief®), PADIS 2025 updates, GLP1/MASH, PTSD. The session is scheduled for Friday, Oct 17 at 1:00pm. Finalized slides will be due September 5, and speakers will receive complimentary meeting registration only.
