GSHP- CSRD District Meeting

We will be having our annual GSHP Connect on August 14, 2024, to coincide with UGA 3^rd year orientation.    For those of you not familiar with GSHP Connect, please read below for more info.

GSHP Connect 

Date: August 14th, 2024

Time: 4-5:30pm

Location: UGA College of Pharmacy, 914 New Bailie Street, Augusta, GA 30912

This meeting is a networking and social opportunity for students to meet local pharmacists and GSHP members.  This event is open to all pharmacy students, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians in the Augusta area, as well as GSHP members. GSHP membership is not necessary to attend.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Networking opportunities include:

• Students have the opportunity to ask pharmacists about rotations they precept.
• Students have the opportunity to meet pharmacy residents and ask questions about their path leading to residency.
• Pharmacists have the opportunity to provide information about their rotations. 
• Pharmacy technicians have the opportunity to share with students about their sites of practice and opportunities to learn in their areas.
• Opportunity to learn more about the GSHP Mentorship program (students and pharmacists)
• Opportunity to learn more about GSHP if interested in membership or a new member to GSHP
