Objectives:

1.       Identify how risk stratification of febrile neutropenia determines treatment modality in pediatric patients.

2.       Review clinical trial data that support antimicrobial drug selection and duration recommended in the 2023 updated guidelines. 

3.       Evaluate opportunities for antimicrobial de-escalation or discontinuation based on clinical features and blood cultures in pediatric patients.

4.       Create a therapy regimen for pediatric patients presenting with febrile neutropenia and identify monitoring parameters to assess appropriate management.
