GSHP CONNECT (Central Savannah River District Meeting in Augusta)
Date: Wednesday August 16, 2023
Time: 4pm-5:30pm
Location: UGA College of Pharmacy, 914 New Bailie Street, Augusta, GA 30912
This meeting is a networking and social opportunity for students to meet local pharmacists and GSHP members. This event is open to all pharmacy students and pharmacists, in the Augusta area, as well as, GSHP members. GSHP membership is not necessary to attend.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Networking opportunities include:
- Students have the opportunity to ask pharmacists about rotations they precept
- Students have the opportunity to meet pharmacy residents and ask questions about their path leading to residency
- Pharmacists have the opportunity to provide information about their rotations and intern programs
- Opportunity to learn more about the GSHP Mentorship program and opportunity to sign up as a mentor or mentee
- Opportunity to learn more about GSHP if interested in membership
