Objectives for Pharmacists
• Discuss the pathophysiology, risk factors, and complications of dyslipidemia
• Describe current guideline recommendations and identify gaps in the management of elevated low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C)
• Recite challenges in achieving guideline recommended LDL-C goals, including statin intolerance
• Discuss the primary literature and discuss the potential clinical indications for novel LDL-C lowering agents

Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Participants of the session who complete the evaluation and provide accurate NABP e-Profile information will have their credit for 1 contact hour (0.1 CEU) submitted to CPE Monitor as early as 1 day after the event and no later than 60 days after the event. The participant is accountable for verifying the accurate posting of CE credit to their CPE Monitor account within 60 days.
