Objectives:

Pharmacists:

• ·         Explain the pathophysiology, risk factors, clinical manifestations of plaque psoriasis, and its impact on patient quality of life
• ·         Evaluate treatment modalities and the role of novel and emerging therapies for plaque psoriasis
• ·         Identify the role of the pharmacist in the management of plaque psoriasis

Pharmacy techs:

• ·         Describe the pathophysiology, risk factors, clinical manifestations of plaque psoriasis, and its impact on patient quality of life
• ·         List treatment modalities and the role of novel and emerging therapies for plaque psoriasis
• ·         Identify the role of the pharmacist in the management of plaque psoriasis

Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Participants of the session who complete the evaluation and provide accurate NABP e-Profile information will have their credit for 1 contact hour (0.1 CEU) submitted to CPE Monitor as early as 1 day after the event and no later than 60 days after the event.  The participant is accountable for verifying the accurate posting of CE credit to their CPE Monitor account within 60 days.
