GSHP hosts key meetings throughout the year that bring together pharmacy professionals from across Georgia to learn, collaborate, and advance health-system pharmacy practice.

These meetings serve as cornerstone events for professional engagement, offering opportunities to connect with colleagues, exchange ideas, and stay current on important topics impacting the profession.

Our Signature Meetings

Spring Meeting

• A focused program featuring timely clinical and professional topics to support your practice early in the year. The Spring Meeting also highlights student and resident research posters, providing a platform to showcase emerging work within the profession.
• Hosted in Savannah, Georgia, this meeting offers a unique blend of high-quality education and opportunities to explore one of the state’s most historic and vibrant destinations.

Summer Meeting

• Our largest meeting of the year, the Summer Meeting brings together pharmacy professionals from across the state for robust educational programming, networking, and organizational engagement.
• Held in Amelia Island, Florida, this meeting features GSHP’s annual awards ceremony and leadership transition, along with a diverse range of educational sessions, including interactive and contemporary topics. Attendees can also engage with one of the largest exhibits of pharmaceutical manufacturers, showcasing the latest products and innovations.

Fall Meeting

• The Fall Meeting offers a more relaxed, retreat-style experience focused on networking and professional connection. The meeting also features the student clinical session, where student pharmacists present patient cases to experienced practitioners for evaluation and feedback.
• Hosted in Brasstown, Georgia, this meeting combines meaningful engagement with a scenic setting. Programming includes a review of new drug approvals from the past year and updates on legislative and regulatory changes impacting pharmacy practice, when applicable.
