Objectives for Pharmacists

1.     Define the two intraperitoneal modalities.

2.     List an appropriate monitoring plan for antibiotics administered intraperitoneally.

3.     Describe antibiotic orders to assess if the dose and route of administration is correct for a patient on peritoneal dialysis.

Objectives for Pharmacy Technicians

1.     Name two intraperitoneal modalities.

2.     Describe when it is appropriate to administer antibiotics intraperitoneally.

3.     Differentiate doses of antibiotics based on the route of administration.

Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Participants of the session who complete the evaluation and provide accurate NABP e-Profile information will have their credit for 1 contact hour (0.1 CEU) submitted to CPE Monitor as early as 1 day after the event and no later than 60 days after the event.  The participant is accountable for verifying the accurate posting of CE credit to their CPE Monitor account within 60 days.
